Tristan Mervin Richard           

     Tristan Richard, “Our Little Man” passed away suddenly on February 14, 2008. He was born on September 17, 2005 in Portage la Prairie and he weighed in at 6 lbs 9 oz.

     Tristan was a bright, happy little 2 year old. He really loved monster trucks and little cars. He loved to watch monster truck shows, and race car shows. He had a favourite truck, it was a black truck, just exactly like his grandpa Herman’s truck. Every time he saw the truck he would get all happy and excited. Tristan called his little truck, “Grandpa’s truck.”

     We will forever hold you in our hearts our baby boy. We will miss you so much. We love you Tristan.

     He leaves to mourn his passing his mom Barbara Sutherland; dad Kevin Richard; brother William; sisters Jewel, Sharon, Trinity, Tanisha; grandparents Herman & Bernice Richard; grandmother Emma Sutherland; favourite uncles Bradley Sutherland and David Richard Sr., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Mervin Sutherland; auntie Kimberly Demerais-Richard, and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     Funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba with Father Roy George Vazhaplankudiyil officiating. Interment followed at Sandy Bay Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Trevor Beaulieu, David Richard, Sheldon Roulette and Mervin Sutherland.
