Nora Edna Dilk

     Nora Edna Dilk passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at East View Lodge, Neepawa, Manitoba at the age of 85 years.

    She was born on March 8, 1923 at Waldersee, Manitoba where she also grew up and received her education. In 1940 Nora married Edward Dilk and they continued to live and raise their three children in the Waldersee area. Nora was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church until retiring to Neepawa in 1999. She was a loving mother and a friend to many.

     Nora was predeceased by her husband Edward and son Alvin.

     She will be lovingly missed by daughter Connie Cooper; son Wayne Dilk (Judy); grandchildren Justin Dilk (Yanyu), Jeremy Dilk (Lisa), Rea Patenaude, Terri Cooper and Colleen Fillmore; great grandchildren Allison Dilk, Dylan and Zach Fillmore, Andree, Sean and Denae Patenaude as well as sisters Rose, Millie and Adeline.

     Funeral service was held Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christ Lutheran Church, Waldersse, Manitoba with Pastor Howard Burnie officiating and Sharron Scrupa presiding at the organ. Interment followed in the Waldersee Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeremy Dilk, Justin Dilk, Brian Dilk, Don Boyall, Brian Heinz and Rod Peppler.
