Katherine Anne Fehr [10/25/1960 - 02/20/2012]

http://clarkesfuneralhome.com/pages/show_content.php?siteid=81&action=1&value=12&obituaries_action=2&obituaryid=115666

In the early hours of February 20, 2012, Katherine Anne Fehr, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away in her home with her loved ones near.
Left to cherish her memory are husband Ronald Fehr; son Matthew (Shauna) grandchildren Caitlyn and Jacob, son Kyle (Melissa), daughter Amanda, son Jason; two sisters and one brother; parents in law; five brothers in law; four sisters in law and all her nieces and nephews.
Katherine was born on October 25, 1960 in Stonewall Manitoba. She grew up on a farm near St. Laurent until the family moved to Austin in 1976. She was baptized at the Rhineland Mennonite Church in Austin upon confession of her faith when she was 17 years old.
On April 18, 1982 she married Ronald Fehr and together they started a home in Plumas Manitoba. In 1983 they moved to a farm north of Plumas where they raised their family. They moved to Boissevain in 2001 and lived there until they moved to Dugald in 2009.
Katherine was the sweetest and most caring person. Her life was grounded in her faith in Jesus Christ and she loved openly and freely. She was sure to tell her children and loved ones that they were important to her and wanted them to know that she was praying for them. She loved when the family was all in one place and always looked forward to the next weekend we would spend together. She found great joy in her grandchildren; Caitlyn and Jacob, and loved to tell others how precious they were. Katherine’s strength, perseverance, and faith were never so apparent as in the last year and a half she spent with us. She was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2010 but never stopped trusting in God’s plan for her and never gave up hope. We will forever find inspiration and encouragement in the memories of her life.

Early on February 14, 2012, after a lengthy battle with kidney and lung disease, Dad’s earthly struggles came to an end.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Annie Hiebert, John leaves to mourn his passing, Margaret (nee Harder), his beloved wife of 43 years; daughter Norma (Dave), sons Danny (Lorraine), Ray (Audrey) and grandchildren Jesse and Kaelyn; daughter Valerie (Brad) and grandchildren Larissa, Nico and Elliott; sister Peggy (Peter); nephews Martin and Tom; brother Ed (Patti); and many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Born near Snowflake, Dad spent his early years in southern Manitoba moving with his family as they worked on various farms. They settled in the MacGregor area in the early 1960’s where Dad met and later married Margaret in June 1968. Dad started attending the Bergthaler Church when invited by a friend and chose to be baptized in June of 1964. He devoted his life to God and raising his family. He worked at Lye’s, now Co-op, from May 1968-1982, mostly working in the lumber yard, building many a shed and grain bin. Dad and Mom chose farming as a way of life and the environment in which to raise their children; working together many long hours. Dad and Mom also enjoyed working as janitors for their church.
We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses of HSC, the PDGH and the dialysis team for all their care given to Dad.

Harold David Loeppky [04/03/1942 - 02/10/2012]

http://clarkesfuneralhome.com/pages/show_content.php?siteid=81&action=1&value=12&obituaries_action=2&obituaryid=115047

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harold David Loeppky on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the age of 69 years.
Left to mourn is his wife of 47 years Kathy; his children Gloria (Al) and Marvin (Jocelynne); granddaughters Misty and Kaycee; brothers and sisters Ervin, Erma (Dave), John (June), Dorothy and Edward (Marg) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents David & Anna; his sister Leona and his parents in law John & Agatha Dyck as well as many of Kathy’s siblings and their spouses.
Harold was born in Altona, MB on April 3, 1942. For the first eight years he lived in the Halbstadt area. In 1950 the family moved to MacGregor, MB. In 1964 he married Kathy Dyck, and they moved to the Loeppky family farm in 1974.
Harold was an energetic and talented man. When he retired from Carnation Foods in Carberry after 35 years, he was able to pursue his passion – farming. His greatest joy was being on the land, working in the fields, and showing off their cattle.
He loved all aspects of farming. After retiring from the plant in Carberry, he worked for the Sims family. He loved it all, seeding, cultivating and harvest time. He was impressed with all the new technology in modern farming equipment.
Harold had many projects on the go. He enjoyed the challenge of building and fixing things to make them bigger, better and stronger.
We will miss your big smile, teasing and laughter. May God keep you safe until we meet again.
