Stephen Arthur Oldham

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Stephen Arthur Oldham on April 15, 2024, at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 71 years.

Stephen is predeceased by his wife Debra Marie Oldham (nee Spence) and by his son Lee Brady Spence.

Stephen leaves to mourn all his children – sons David (Gina), Tommy, Blade (Natasha); daughters Lisa (Mike), Lisa, Cinthia (Christopher; granddaughter Mandy along with other grandchildren.

Stephen was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.  He worked for Bison Transport for many years driving night and day putting in his hard work and dedication until he retired.  Stephen loved to camp and fish.  His favorite spot was in Ste. Rose du Lac.  He would camp with the love of his life Debra and also with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Harriet and Norbert. 

Stephen enjoyed playing bingo and eating the food from the canteen, especially the sweets.  He enjoyed visiting his sister-in-law Susan and loved eating the Bannock burgers she would make.  His favorite was his wife Debra’s rice pudding and raisin Bannock.

Stephen was honored when he was asked to be the God Father of Megan and Brett McMillan.  His love for his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews was special.

He will be truly missed by the ones who were able to share their lives with him.  We will miss your voice, your smile, your sense of humor and we will miss seeing you walking in somewhere wearing your fishing hat. 

Honorary Pallbearers are all his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom he loved so much.
