Andrew Roulette Obituary

Born in Amaranth MB on October 28, 1957. Passed away at the Portage District Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

            Andrew was a father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather, godfather and friend. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret “Maggie” and father Leonard Roulette; brother James and sister in law Stella Mousseau; sister Mildred and brother in law Rupert Roulette; brother Henry Roulette; sister Sylvia Blagden and brother Marcel Roulette. He leaves to mourn his son Damion Beaulieu and his mother Flora Beaulieu; brother Dennis and Cecilia Roulette of Oakville; brother in law Grant Blagden of Portage la Prairie; sister in law Alvina Roulette of Portage la Prairie; brother Bert and Rhonda Roulette of Brandon; brother Brian and Lee-Ann of Brandon; godchildren Langford Traverse Sr. and Sheldon (Shelly) Roulette; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren; special nephews Jimmy and Charlie Mousseau.

            Andrew worked at the Jets Car Wash in Winnipeg for numerous years. He moved back home to Alonsa transfer. In his spare time he was a coach for the kids in Alonsa hockey team. He worked for the Ste. Rose Auction Mart, for Jimmy Ross of Bacon Ridge, Jimmy Parsons of Amaranth and Sid Johnson of Portage la Prairie. He was diagnosed with diabetes and eventually ended up on dialysis. His favourite hockey team was the Winnipeg Jets. He enjoyed wrestling, baseball and especially curling. His pastime was visiting with family and friends.

            Wake will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Amaranth Hall. Feast will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 12:00 noon with a service to follow at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Amaranth. Interment will follow at the Haven of Rest Cemetery in Amaranth.

            We would like to thank the Alonsa home care workers, Davis taxi, Ste. Rose Hospital, Portage District Hospital and special niece Loretta Roulette for all the hard work she did making sure he made it to all his appointments. Thanks from the family to Clarke’s Funeral Home and all who attended the funeral.
