Brenda Marie (Sattler) Smith

            Sadly on November 13, 2019 Brenda Marie Smith passed away at Tabor Home in Morden, Manitoba at the age of 62. 

            Brenda was born on April 12th 1957 in Elkhorn, Manitoba to John and Marie Sattler. She grew up in various places in Manitoba including Elkhorn, St. Claude, Austin, and MacGregor with her 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Later in life she lived at Long Plains with her husband Walter and their children. 

            She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She also loved the outdoors, bingo, gardening, her dogs, her coffee and watching Family Feud, Jerry Springer, and other talk shows. She also loved listening to old country music and the Pow wow’s. She worked at various restaurants, the bakery, and on potato harvest. 

            Brenda was predeceased by her husband Walter Smith, father John Sattler, Brother-in-laws Bill Dyck and Keith Lee and nephew Christopher. 

            She is survived by her daughters Christine, Sandra (Joe), Brenda (Alex); sons Jesse, Carl (Chelsea); stepsons Jerry (Ashley), Cory; mother Marie Sattler; brothers and sisters Robert (Glenda), Brian (Maxine), Ed (Lee),Val (Keith), Susan, Debbie, and Mike (Sheilagh) as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews
