Darwin Oswald

            Darwin Oswald passed away at his residence in Amaranth on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 71 years.

            Darwin was predeceased by his father Roy Oswald and mother Edna Oswald. He leaves to mourn his daughters Sherry (Joe) and Gina; grandchildren Terrance, Roy, Lily, Katie, Kerriann, Gia and Kayley; common law partner Marie Monias as well as her daughter and grandchildren; brother Oscar Oswald (Elaine); sisters Louise Fish (Bob), Bunny Dietrich (Johnny) and Debbie Cann. Darwin will be missed by numerous friends, nieces and nephews.

            Darwin’s early years were spent on the family farm, later moving to town where he spent the remainder of his life. He became a Commercial Fisherman on Lake Manitoba. In summer months he worked with Paul Single making headstones and grave covers for rural communities.

            Darwin enjoyed gardening, driving around in the countryside, and being outdoors. He also liked doing puzzles, watching birds and hockey. He was carefree and loved with his whole heart. We love you, Dad.
