Dora Knelsen

            Dora Knelsen of Sidney passed away suddenly in her home on January 22, 2020.
Mom was predeceased by her mother Katherine ”Tina” Driedger (1955) and her parents John (2004) and Elizabeth (1999) and her infant granddaughter Rorie Knelsen.

            Mom was born in Altona, Manitoba on September 26, 1952. She grew up in Rose Farm and moved to the Austin area in 1965.

            Mom and Dad were married July 16, 1972. They lived in MacGregor for the winter and then moved to Pleasant Point.  In December, 1976 Mom and Dad moved to the farm on Arizona Road where they raised their six children.

            Mom was always busy sewing, making crafts, baking and taking wonderful care of her family.  Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren, whether it was attending sporting events, school concerts or grandma camping in the yard, Mom loved it all.

            Our mom is survived by her loving husband Andy; her children Darrell (Sharon), Stacey (Dawn), Angela (Chris), Karen (Robert), Greg (Erika), Jolene (Mike). Mama will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Taylor (Lexxie), Cole (Katie), Jacie (Boyd), Greyson (Chantelle), Presley, Braelyn, Corbin, Quinn, and Fleecy.

            Our family would like to thank everyone for the food and flowers that have been delivered to our doors. Your love, support and kind words have touched our hearts.
