Lorraine Vivian (Ford) Smith

            Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Third Crossing Manor, in her 88th year, God called her home.

            Lorraine was born, and grew up in the Winchester area. Then she met and married, Gordon Smith, the Love of her life, and they lived in Glenella-Lansdowne for many happy years.

            Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Violet Ford; husband Gordon Smith and son Noel Smith. Lorraine is survived by sister Shirley Mcewen and brother in law Bill Mcewen, numerous nieces and nephews; daughter Trudy Durston and grandchildren, Zach Henderson, Jody Senior, and great granddaughter Katrina Thorne.

            Mom loved gardening, cooking, and baking, but most of all collecting her 500 pairs of Salt and Pepper Shakers.

            We would like to thank all Mom’s numerous nurses, that encountered my Mom’s witty sense of humor and the staff that made her smile, and Doctor Tariq.
