Nancy Denise McIvor

            Passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 48 years.

            Nancy was predeceased by her father Cecil Desjarlais and mother Joyce McIvor; sisters Sherry McIvor, Annette Desjarlais and brother Lester Desjarlais. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories are her husband Wendall Desjarlais; children Wendall Jr., Cecily (Alex), Sherilyn (Richard), Shane, Dwight (Jolaney) and Lester; grandchildren Wendall Jr., Eilleen, Xavier, Draven, Jayda, Carliegh, Jennifer, Sandreaze, Richanna, Shanelle, Dontae and Theo; best friend Priscilla and siblings Cecil, Cynthia, Dion, Sharold and Allison.

            Nancy was a hard working woman. She was sick for several years fighting for her health. She liked helping other people, listening to music, driving around, playing bingo and visiting friends. She had a heart of gold and provided for her children, nieces and nephews. She always made ends meet and showed a lot of respect and love for others – welcoming everyone into her home. She believed in God and in miracles. “All you got to do is pray, day by day.”
