Always standing with a bear
It is with tremendous sorrow to announce the passing of a great man. Allen Charles Mousseau (Charlie) started his journey to the spirit world to our ancestors on June 8, 2025, within the comforts of his home. He went to sleep and peacefully drifted into rest at the age of sixty-four.
Dad Charlie (Chuck) will be enormously missed by his wife Norma Jean Mousseau, children; Lynne (Sean), Audrey (Big Audrey), Ivy, Audrey (Miss Kitty), Millicent (Milligo) and many more from fostering over 32 years. Siblings; Loretta (Wesley), Fabian (Agnes), James, Elizabeth (Lisa), Agnes Nicole, step brother Brian (Bernice) Eastman, step sister Dorothy Eastman - Richard.
Charles is predeceased by mother Stella Mousseau, Father Harold Mousseau (Chico), Grandparents Johnny and Agnes Beaulieu, Leonard and Margaret Roulette.
Dad, Charlie was a loving hilarious spirited man. He always made jokes and shared tons of laughter. He worked hard and held so much pride in being able to provide and be there for his family and friends. He loved us, always lending a helping hand to any one of us that needed it.
Dad spoiled his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He always did his best each and every day.
Charlie was on of a kind. He liked going out with his friends singing and playing guitar. Most of his buddies were all musicians. They made awesome memories they will forever cherish. He had many friends from near and far.
He started working at a young age for farmers. As time went on, he also did carpentry. He took courses to become a plumber and a heavy equipment operator until his passing.
He loved hunting, camping, fishing, visiting, and taking long drives, going on scenic routes with his family and friends.
His music and voice will surely be missed along with his contagious laughter and smile by all who knew him.
