Alvin Roulette

In loving Memory of Alvin Joseph Roulette, born May 10, 1947 and passed away June 9, 2022.

Alvin was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.  He passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 75 years. 

Alvin was predeceased by his parents Marie Beaulieu and Hebron Roulette; brothers Peter, Frank, Harry and Maurice; sisters Christina Maytwayashing, Irene, Isabella, and Ruby; granddaughters Sheena Marie and Jodie Martin; and grandson Kelly John. 

Left to mourn his passing are his wife Doris of 54 years; children Darlene, Selena (Winston), Shauna, Cheryl (Clifford) Dumas, Faron (Dayna), Melvin (Fiona); and sisters Elizabeth (Kenneth) and Mary K; grandchildren Felicia, Brennon, Mercedes, Barry Jr., Tori, Byron, Trina, Chloe, Nolan, and AJ, Stephan, Tyrone, Chasney, Malea, Casey, Landon, Sylas, Keanu, Kendra, Ethan, Kennedy, Emma, Erin, Arthur, Faron Jr., Sean, Kristi, Athena, Amber, William, Jamie, Katana, Clifford Jr., Reiser; and 16 great grandchildren; god daughter Suzette Roulette; god son Waylon McKay, Josh Roulette and Joseph Roulette.

Alvin enjoyed a full life.  He snared rabbits and hunted most of his days and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren very much.  Though he was quiet, he was always cheerful and liked to joke around with his friends at the lumberyard.  Alvin involved himself with his grandchildren and passed on his skills of carpentry, fishing, and playing horseshoes.  He spoke his Ojibway language fluently and assisted with the Ojibway dictionary.

Grandpa was a jokester and always filled the room with laughter.
