Anne was born on Dec 23, 1939 in Winkler, MB. She grew up in Gnadenthal, MB .She moved with her parents to Muir Manitoba when she was a teen.
As a young lady she worked at the St Boniface hospital in Winnipeg as a Nurses Aid and soon after the TB Sanitorium at Ninette, MB
She met, fell in love, and married John Neufeld her beloved husband of 59 years.
They started their life together in Deloraine and in 1971 moved to the Gladstone Farm in 1971.
Anne was a home maker for the early years of the marriage. She loved spending time in her flower garden. Being a farm wife, she did everything from milking the cows to driving tractor and bailing hay. Having three rambunctious boys she was an avid wrestler.
When the children became teens she took a Nurses Aid job at the East View Lodge, Neepawa’s care home, and faithfully attended the seniors there.
She had a soft heart for others and when she discovered that her cousin Ben Rempel from Mexico needed a home, she quickly took him in. She cared for him for over a decade.
She suffered a stroke while they lived in Neepawa, but she didn’t let that stop her. She was out riding her bicycle when they moved to Gladstone a few years later.
After surviving her first bout with cancer she was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in August.
She is predeceased by her two sisters and their spouses, Susanna and Gilles Durand, and Katharine and Jake Dyck, and brother George, grandson Dillan Neufeld and several Brothers and Sisters-in-law.
