   It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our baby Ayla Marlene Justyne Tacan-Roulette.

   Ayla leaves to mourn her parents Ariel Tacan-Hobson and Reynnen Roulette, grandparents Aaron Hobson and Alissa Monkman, Holly Peters and Reynold Roulette, Bill and Shirley Guenther, great-grandparents Sharon and Neil Scott, special koko Cheyanne Hobson & numerous koko’s, papa’s, aunts, uncles, cousins.

   Ayla was predeceased by her grandmother Justyne Tacan, great grandparents Noel and Marlene Peters, great grandpa Melvin Hobson, great grandmother Vera Tacan, great-great grandparents Janice and Bernhard Berger.

   Baby Ayla was born February 3, 2023 in Portage la Prairie weighing 6 pounds 15 ounces. Ayla was here for a short time but stole the hearts of those who knew her. Ayla enjoyed her little walks, being talked too and loved her food. Bath times were special for mommy and baby. Ariel and Reynnen loved spending their time with baby Ayla, they will cherish those memories they had with her, it was a short time but Ayla left a big impact in their lives. Ayla will be sadly missed by all her family.

   The family would like to thank Brandon Police Services, Brandon Paramedics, the Doctors, Nurses and the Aboriginal Support Workers at the Brandon Hospital, fire keepers, grave diggers, cooks, Jacqueline Daniels, Irene, Dave Scott, North Eagle Drum Group and Clarke’s Funeral Home.

   A very special thank you to auntie Arianna for her tirelessly effort to help baby Ayla.

   Wake Service will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 4:00PM, Long Plain Spirit Lodge Feast &. Traditional Service will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 at 12:00PM, Long Plain Spirit Lodge with burial at Peters Resting Place. Elder Dave Scott and Drum Group North Eagle. Pallbearers are Papa Aaron and Papa Reynold. Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Woods, Tia Meeches, Aimee Huntinghawk and Sierra Hobson.
