Brenna Jayceen Roulette

It is with deep sorrow that Jaiden, Haylie, Jordan, Anthony, Kristine and Keelan announce the peaceful passing of their beloved Mommy Brenna Jayceen Roulette in Winnipeg on April 2nd, 2021 at the young age of 30 years old.

            Brenna leaves to mourn and love her forever, her Mom Debra; her daddy Fabian Sr.; her brothers Brent (Carmel), Bobby; sisters Carrie and Tayah. She also leaves behind nephews Nolan, James and Izaya; nieces Autumn, Taylor, Amelia, Keesha, Kerri and Kiera; her koko Lillian Starr; aunties Darlene (Allan), Maxine (Bruce), Connie (Patrick), Brenda (Jim), Mavis, Dinah, Marcia (Marty), Gina (David) and Rina (Mike); uncles Jason (Jenna), Arthur (Sheila) and Wayne. There are also numerous cousins and friends that will miss Brenna.

Brenna was predeceased by her baby daughter Angel; her big brother Fabian Jr., grandpa Angus Starr; uncle Charles; grandparents Arthur & Virginia Roulette; cousins Patrick Jr., Eric and Darcey.

            Brenna was born in Portage la Prairie on September 17, 1990. She resided in Sandy Bay First Nation earlier on in her life and she eventually moved to Winnipeg. She enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was playing bingo, putting on makeup, teasing her mom, watching Jordan play the game or sitting around watching tv with the kids. She was ‘Mommy B’ to Autumn and Taylor. She enjoyed spending time with her namesake, Jaycene.

Brenna battled with addictions and although her family tried everything to help her, it was just too much.

            On a beautiful sunny Good Friday, her mom and dad made the most difficult decision to let her go and find the peace she endlessly searched for. She quietly passed away while her mom, dad and auntie Darlene held her hands.

            We take comfort in knowing Brenna is finally free from her struggles.

            Brenna, we promise to take care of your babies and make sure they will never forget you.

            Wake Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM at 121 Ridge Road North, Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba.

            Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at 121 Ridge Road North, Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba with Father Leo Fernandes officiating. Interment to follow at Sandy Bay Cemetery. Pallbearers are Glen Levasseur, Mervin Sutherland Jr., Todd Levasseur, Marty Roulette Jr., Brian Starr, Joel Starr, Jason Starr Jr. and Matthew Elk. All of Brenna’s family and friends are considered honorary pallbearers.

Covid guidelines will be in place.
