Brian passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Portage General Hospital at the age of 75 years. Brian was born in Saskatchewan and spent his early years there until the family moved back to Manitoba and settled at Pratt in 1959. The hills of Triple L Ranch have been his home ever since. Animals were the focus of ranch life and it was home to horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, cats, dogs and even worms. He spent many hours in a saddle in his younger days and many more hours behind the wheel of a truck hauling gravel, groceries, oil and grain. Ball was his sport of choice in summer, hockey in winter and hunting and fishing anytime. Behind a somewhat crusty exterior was a generous spirit and a loyalty to family and friends.
He leaves to remember his life his wife Colleen, sons James (Joy), grand-daughters Jordan, Jayne and Jenna; Scott (Jennessa), and grand-sons Brett, Blake, Bowen and Buck; Joe (Michelle); daughters Val (Larry), Angie and grand-children Seth and Ozzlynn and 2 great grandchildren; sisters Carol (Bob) and Darlene; brothers-in-law Al (Joyce), Brad and sister-in-law Jennifer; much loved nieces and nephews Nichole, Garrett, Brett, Megan, Rachel, Charlotte, Gillian and Daniel and extended family and friends.
