With family by his side on May 22nd, 2023 Charlie Richard (Strong White Bear) made his journey to the spirit world. Charlie was born on November 18th, 1951 in Sandy Bay First Nation.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 48 years, Betty Ann; children David (Cheryl), Carlson (Anita), Christy (Nathan); 15 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; his brother Johnny Richard; his best friend Joe Racette (Audrey); Marilyn (Clarence), Barbara, Alex (Charmiane), Clifford, Wilfred (Patty), Earl, Daniel (Tracy), Doris (Jeffrey); goddaughter Maureen Spence.
He is predeceased by his daughter Priscilla (Patty), his parents Lawrence & Priscilla; his sisters & brothers; his nephews & nieces; his mother-in-law Theresa Spence; in-laws Abe McIvor, Florence Spence, Gordie, Danny (Lisa), Norma, John Russell, Mary Louise, Greta, Geradine, nephews and nieces.
