Clair Edward Lobreau

Clair Edward Lobreau passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at the age of 66 years.

Clair was born September 6, 1956 in Hartney, Manitoba.

Clair grew up in Findlay, MB and attended elementary school there before graduating from Hartney Collegiate in 1974 where he met his wife-to-be Debi Ramsey.  They married on October 18, 1975 in Lauder, MB.  He started work with Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1974, first in Waskada, moving to Elgin, Glenora, Longburn, MacDonald, MacGregor, Holland, and Austin for a total of 27 years.  He most recently worked at Acklands-Grainger and Western Bearing in Portage la Prairie.  In the winter months, Clair could be found at the hockey rink, whether that be coaching or cheering, especially with his grand-daughter Caitlin.  In the summer, if not hunting raspberries in the backyard, or tending to his rose bushes, he would be on the golf course hunting golf balls in the bush from his bad shot or anothers.

Clair was predeceased by : parents Wilfred Lobreau and Marie (Copet), sister Michelle, brother Gilbert, and twin sons Kenny and Keith.

Clair will be remembered by: wife Debi (Ramsey), son Derrick (Cathy) and grand-daughter Caitlin, son Dallas, brothers Francis, Roland, Danny, and Guy, sister Elaine.

A celebration will be held at a later date with friends and family.

A Celebration of Clair's Life 

will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 

from 2 - 5 pm

A come and go get together with family and friends will be held at 236 Park Drive, MacGregor, MB.

Family would appreciate if you would kindly bring food and beverages (Plates, glasses, and cutlery) to share with everyone.
