Clifford Roulette Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our father Clifford Arthur Joseph Roulette on December 11 2021, at Portage District General hospital.
Clifford was born October 14,1940 in Sandy Bay First Nation to Lyzie Roulette & Jean Baptiste “Sam” Roulette , he was predeceased by his wife Shirley Richard, his brothers, Eugene, Camille, and Russell, his sisters Lucille, and Rose, daughter LeeAnn Quipp, and grandchildren Brett, Joby, John, Julius and Illa.
He is survived by his children Jeremy(Audrey), Candace, Melissa(Larry), Terrance(Crystal), Jo-Anne(Jeremy), Sarah(Josh), as well as his cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and godchildren.
Clifford was raised in Sandy Bay, Langruth & Westbourne, he was well known as “McArthur” or Arthur Jones. He was such a bright loving man, he always had a smile on his face, he usually made jokes with people, just to see them smile. He loved playing hockey when he was younger, but had to stop due to injuries. He loved watching WWE & NHL, mainly his favorite team Boston Bruins. He loved going to his grandchildren’s hockey games to watch them play, as well as his hometown hockey teams ( Flying Feathermen, & Badgers). He also enjoyed going hunting with his brothers, and friends.
Clifford mainly worked as an Agricultural worker near Portage la Prairie up until his retirement. Clifford was always spending time with his grandchildren & great grandchildren, he enjoyed traveling with his family and friends, during his travels, he usually had Lawrence, his “partner in crime”. He loved telling stories about his journeys in his younger days to his children and grandchildren. Clifford was an enthusiastic man, he loved to dance and sing, whenever he was listening to music, it was always really loud. He and his wife enjoyed watching the children of family & friends, they considered them as their own, whenever anyone needed help, Clifford was always there offering to help.
Clifford was a loving father, uncle, cousin, grandfather great grandfather & godfather  , he will never be forgotten, we will cherish all the memories and moments spent with him…
