It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Stanley Roulette, at the age of 71 years.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 50 years Cecilia; Children Daniel (Phylene), Evangeline (Langford), Melanie (Rockie), Henry, Orin, Miles (Carmelita); Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn brothers Bert and Brian, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Margret and Leonard, his brothers Henry, James, Marcel and Andrew, also his sisters Mildred and Sylvia.
Dennis was born in Leifer, Manitoba to Margret Mousseau and Leonard Roulette. Dennis married Cecilia, they had 6 children; Daniel, Evangeline, Melanie, Henry, Orin and Miles. He raised his family in Alonsa, Manitoba. Dennis was always a loving, kind husband and father to his family. He enjoyed his work as a construction worker; he worked in various places and communities throughout Manitoba during the week. But on weekends it was a different story, he had a love and passion for dancing, doing the Red River Jig, and square dancing with Daughter Bugsy and group. Dennis was also a referee during hockey season and also liked to attend hockey games and other recreational sports. In the summer months he was on the powwow trail. Dennis had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren which he loved dearly. Throughout the years there was never a month that went by without the family to enjoy a gathering, there was always a birthday or celebration with lots of laughs and love. He also loved to travel and try out different hobbies such as his crafty wood working skills, making regalia, gardening, and canning vegetables. Condolences to all family and friends.
