Donald Earl Gibbings

            Don surrendered to his 16 year battle with sugar diabetes, with his wife by his side on August 27, 2020 at the Portage District General Hospital.

            Don was born February 4, 1944 in Lakeland, Manitoba. He was the son of the Late Saddie and Henry Gibbings. He loved to farm, especially with Victor and Ron Post who he was working for prior to getting sick.

            Don leaves to mourn his wife Clara of 52 years; one sister Lillian Olson as well as children Margaret (Charlie), Joanne (Brent), and Ernest (Monique); grandchildren Ashlee (Kevin), Pamela, Chasity (Sonny), Dan (Stephanie), Jon (Jessica), Tina (Brendon), Cheyenne (Austin), Jenelle, and Jordan “Porky”; great grandchildren Leighton, Serenity “Macaroni” and Nevaeh, as well numerous friends. He was predeceased by his son John and granddaughter Julie.
