"Doot" Russel Grant McIvor

Passed away at the Portage District General Hospital on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the age of 43 years.

            Russel grew up in Sandy Bay First Nation, where he had many friends and attended school. He had a passion for hunting, especially for ducks.

            Russel was a family man. He had 3 step children whom he took care of and treated as his very own, Cassidy, Morley and Willie as well as 2 grandchildren that he really adored.

            Russel was the life of the party. He never failed to make people laugh and smile. He had a great sense of humour and was a very funny guy. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

            Russel leaves to mourn his father Clinton McIvor; children Cassidy, Morley and Willie; 2 grandchildren; brothers Patrick (Wanda), Craig (Michelle), Glen (Joannie), Clint (Molly), Norman (Jessica) and Clayton (Nikki); sister Christina (Alex); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

           He was predeceased by his mother Shirly McIvor and sister Kimberly Bruce.
