Elizabeth Single

Mom passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 at Lions Prairie Manor. She was 104 years old.

She is survived by daughters Dianne (Perry); grandson Chris (Jenn); and great grandsons Connor and Dylan; daughter-in-law Pat; granddaughter Sharon (Dallas); great grandchildren Anita, Jennifer, and Eric; Trish (Clint).

Mom was predeceased by Dad (Reinhold); son (Alvin); and daughters Edith and Baby Girl. Also predeceased by her parents and six siblings.

Mom and Dad were married on October 17, 1943 and lived on their farm in Waldersee for many years. After retirement, they moved to Plumas where Dad continued his wood working and Mom kept busy with her many talents. She continued with her gardening and of course crocheting and crafts. We have all received many items of her work. Of course, her favourite past time was – Bingo!

Faith was a very important part of Mom and Dad’s life. Mom played organ for services at Waldersee Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church in Plumas.

After Dad passed away, Mom moved to Portage and maintained her own apartment for several years. As time went on, Mom needed more assistance with her day to day living and moved into Lions Prairie Manor. This was home to Mom for eleven years until her passing.

The family wishes to thank Lions Prairie Manor for their excellent care of Mom over the years.
