Emilie Marie Ames

Emilie Marie Ames passed away at age 48 peacefully at home in Amaranth, MB with her husband by her side.

Emy is predeceased by her Maternal Grandparents Albert and Nora Houle, Paternal Grandparents Van and Hattie Anderson, Aunt Emilie Houle, and Father Ron Anderson.

She leaves to mourn in her passing her husband Kojak Ames; children Angel (Orrie), Evan (Savannah), Samantha (Coty), and Kody; loving grandchildren Avery, Meia, Noah, and Kaius; her mother Selma; her siblings Autumn (Neil), and Trent; her nieces Trista, Ava, and Scarlett; nephews Slade, Seth, Ethan, Nathaniel, and Atreas.

Emilie was born to Ron and Selma Anderson on January 13, 1974, in Ste. Rose du Lac. She lived in Reedy Creek and attended Alonsa School where she met Kojak in September 1989. Emy graduated from Alonsa in 1992 and moved to Amaranth where she resided throughout her life. She was a well-respected member of the community who went out of her way to help the people in her life and career. That’s who Emy was, she made friends that turned into family along the way.

Emy had a heart of gold and lit up the room wherever she went. She had an infectious laugh that made you laugh with her. That’s how we could find her is by her beautiful laugh and smile, or her yelling, “Where’s Kojak?!”

She loved to sing, dance, attend concerts, golf, and she loved her music.

She was never scared to try anything new; she was so brave. She was our Queen and knew it. She wore her crown well.
