Evelyne Helena Alderson

The family is sad to announce that our Mom, Evelyne passed away on July 31st /2023. At the MacGregor Care Home at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her husband Ralph of 30 yrs and first husband Gordon of 29 years. By her parents Albert and Merle Pogue. Her brother Jim and Lorena Pogue and many relatives and friends.
Mom leaves to mourn her children Dennis, Dixie(Kerry), Heather(Chris), Scott( Andrea). Fifteen grandchildren Candace( Majid) Courtney(Pete) Alicia, Whitney (Kamy), Janelle ( Richard), stephanie( Trevor) Jennifer( Greg),Sydney(Shane), Brennen (Val), Elyssa( Brian) Chase (Sarah), Alicia, Annika, Elias, Olivia and Egan. Twenty great grandchildren Delara, Parissa, Sofia, Beau, Maliyah, Arianna, Ivy, Leo, Zen, Harper, Pfeiffer, Indiana, Chevelle, Blaike, Kacie, Brody, Kyla. Taylor, Parker and Aubrey. As well as many relatives and friends.
Mom had a very full life, filled with family, friends,travel, work and hobbies. She took great pride in her letter writing and her weekly news column took the Macgregor Herald. She took special interest in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
After Ralph’s passing moms health began to decline. She then moved into Victoria place for a brief time before moving into the MacGregor Care Home, where she lived til her passing. The family want to acknowledge and thank the staff for their kindness and care.

Celebration of Life to be held at the MacGregor United Church @ 1 pm Thursday August 3, 2023. A viewing beginning at 11am at the church. Lunch to follow at the Multiplex. Internment to follow at 3pm at Beaver Creek Cemetery.
