Faye Dawn Desjarlais

Our hearts are heavy with the sudden passing of our forever adored Faye Dawn Desjarlais-Holden.

Faye held a special place in our hearts. She leaves behind her husband, Kieth Holden; her siblings Maureen, James, and Amy; god-son Dylan, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and friends, all of whom will deeply miss her. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Rona Desjarlais, grandparents, James Desjarlais and Emily Spence, Joseph and Eva Sutherland, Clifford and Olive Eastman, and god-parents, Harry and Audrey Roulette.

Faye had a bubbly personality with a contagious laugh. Often, you could find her in a crowd by her laugh alone. Faye poured her entire heart into her passions. She loved to bake, craft and bead. She would binge watch Netflix series with her husband. She spent hours on the phone with her sisters. She loved spending time with her family. There are so many special memories that each one of us have had with Faye.

She had a special connection with her grandchildren, Ava, Colleen, Daxton, Arnold Jr., Johannah, Johnson, Joshua (Wah wah), Johneah (lil Nay nay), Joveah, Jaelinn, Lil Johnny, and Joriah (lil Fred).

A Much Loved Aunt

The day that God called your name it broke my heart in two,

But Heaven needed an Angel and the one he picked was you..

I just wish he could have waited, and let you stay with me,

But you have left memories in my heart and that’s where they will always be.

I just wish I could rewind the clock or make it turn real slow,

If only I could have hugged you one more time, before you had to go..

No matter how much time will pass, I’ll miss you every day,

Keep shining bright in heaven, so you can light my way.

With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay.
