George Wade Emerson

George Wade Emerson, 53, died on February 10, 2026, in Winkler, Manitoba. He was born on February 9, 1973, in MacGregor, Manitoba, to Gary and Lily Emerson.

Mr. Emerson worked for many years at Macs Rentals, where he built a steady career in the rental business. He completed his secondary education through Grade 12.

Outside of work, Mr. Emerson was known for his love of snooker and for his passion for driving his IROC Camaro. These pursuits reflected his straightforward character and his appreciation for both leisure and the open road.

He is survived by his wife, Janita Douglas; his stepson, Davin; and his siblings, Kenneth, Dwight, Christine, and Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Lily Emerson as well as his daughter Kiera and sister Kimberley.
