With sad and heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Gladius “Larry” Beaulieu, Beloved Husband, Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Cousin, Nephew, Godfather and Friend at the age of 71 years. Larry was born on August 8, 1953, and raised in Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba.

Brother-in-law Albert Cook Jr., Sister-in-law Mary Rose Beaulieu, (nee Racette), Mother-in-law Lillian Spence, Father-in-law Wilfred Spence, Sister-in-laws Sheila Richard, Diana Beaulieu, Rhonda Spence, Brother-in-law Darren R. Beaulieu and granddaughter Keesha Moose.

Larry leaves to mourn his stepdaughter Erica (Ken), son Greg (Cynthia), Stepson Cameron, Sisters; Judy, Zelda (Lorne) and Ollie (Kelvin), twin brothers; Cyril (Esther), Reggie (Priscilla) and brother-in-law Ken Nicolson. Sister-in-law Sharon (Darren), Linda and Rita, Brother-in-law; Arnold (Shelia), Wilfred Jr. (Terry) and Shane, numerous nieces and nephews, God children, cousins and friends. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Larry attended Sandy Bay Residential School and later attended Amaranth Collegiate. He then worked various jobs for Farmers in the area of Amaranth. He later gained employment at Springhill Farms in Neepawa, MB which is now called HYLIFE. Larry retired a few years later.

Larry treasured all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He especially loved the pictures they would color for him and his time spent with them. Larry loved to play his guitar since his teenage years.  He loved to jam with his brother Cyril and his brother Ernie who passed away on October 3, 2011. He always looked forward to the family jam held annually in August where he could jam with family, other musicians and singers who would come and play their instruments or sing. In the latter part of his life, he wanted to revive his dad’s fiddle music by learning them with his brother Cyril.

He will always be remembered by his great talent playing his guitar and his love for all his family. May his legacy live on through all of us in the years to come.
