"Leading Thunderbird"
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Harlen George Jospeh Racette “Leading Thunderbird” on February 19, 2025, at his residence in Sandy Bay from medical complications from surgery. He loved to sing karaoke and visit his friends. He worked at Hylife in Neepawa for over 20 years and lived in Neepawa. He was a hunter and went hunting every summer in the Duck Mountains.
He was predeceased by his parents George Spence and Beatrice Racette, and his grand parents.
He leaves behind his ex-wife Lynne Wotton, and their two children Thomas and Issabella Racette. He has 3 siblings and an adopted brother and sister. Also mourning his passing are Nicole, Carmen, Waylon (Jory), Coonie and Kim. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, and uncles, nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
I CHOOSE
TO LIVE BY CHOICE,
NOT CHANCE,
TO BE MOTIVATED,
NOT MANIPULATED.
TO BE USEFUL,
NOT USED.
TO MAKE CHANGES,
NOT EXCUSES,
TO EXCEL,
NOT COMPETE.
I CHOOSE TO
LISTEN TO MY
INNER VOICE,
NOT TO RANDOM
OPIONS OF OTHERS.
I CHOOSE ME!!
