Passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 51 years.

He is survived by his common law wife Evelyn of 34 years; children Carlene (Francis), Nicholas (Lillian), Harvey Jr., (Mercedes), Elena and Carla (special nephew Norbert McIvor); grandchildren Gabrielle, Darcainyon, Tianna, Francis Jr., Haven, Jared, Serenity, Makenna, Sophie, Storm, and Hudson; mother Nora Popien; siblings Marlene, Sylvia (Mervin Sr.), John (Marge), Gary, Barbara (Doug), Larry, Roseanne (Barry), Karen (Jorge), Leona (Earl), Diane (Jason) Hume, Agnes (Ken) Ewasiuk, Peter Popien, and Lyle (Kelly) Popien. He was predeceased by his biological parents Frederick Zebrasky in 2000 and Audrey Richard in 2013; adoptive father Edward Popien in 2016, and brother David Popien in 2017.
