Heather Lee Brown of Winnipeg passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 17, 2022 at the age of 56. Heather was a joyous, friendly and caring sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her brothers: Colin (Fiona) and Bruce (Sharon); and loving nieces and nephews: Tayte, Sarah (Ben), Matthew (Sara), Thomas and Joshua. Heather loved family – always so excited for the weekly call from “Big Brother” Colin, who lives in Vancouver.  She was on top of family news – birthdays, weddings, and other special events were much looked-forward occasions for her.  Heather’s enthusiasm was infectious and her presence would light up a room. 

She also generously gave the best compliments – noticing the smallest things! Her nieces and nephews were a special source of pride for Heather, and she could talk about them endlessly. She was always so proud of their accomplishments and would love to say, “I am so happy for her/him”. Heather was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Dorothy. A Memorial service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held at New Life Sanctuary Church in Winnipeg on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.  Private family interment. Refreshments will be served following the service.
