James Spence Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of James Alexander Spence, who left to the spirit world on May 31st, 2024. 

James was a young man of great character, who was known for his kindness, compassion, and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him in such his short time he has spent here on earth.

James enjoyed the company of his cousins and more so his favorite cousin Charles, James was also passionate about skating, he used to build his own outdoor rinks for himself, his siblings and for the neighborhood kids to enjoy, He grew to love the game of Hockey along with his favorite NHL team Chicago Blackhawks. 

Pedro his baby boy was the light of his life, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for him. Keara & James took pleasure in raising their son, going on family outings and always being together.

James shared a special bond with his mom and dad, to them he was referred to as Jamesie their little brown boy. With great sorrow he will be missed for eternity by his parents, his siblings, his partner their baby and his cousins.

He leaves to mourn his parents Maureen & Doug, his partner Keara and their son Pedro. Siblings; Erick, Katie, Kaitlyn (Justin), Casey, Shanice (Helayna) and Andy. Nephews; Draven, Carson, Raiden, Alvin, Erick Jr. and Sebastian. Nieces; Seraphina, Mia, Jessa and his day one Cousin Charles as well as his Godparents Yvette & Lawrence Malcolm, family, friends who loved him very much.

James was predeceased by his maternal grand parents, Alvin and Delvina Spence. His paternal grandparents Fredrick and Doreen Sanderson. His Sister Janice, His Brother Jacob. Uncles; Ronnie, Phillip, Jimmy, Hughie, Lyle and as well as numerous family members.
