“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” Ephesians 1:3-6.
John Maendel was Husband, Dad, Pappa, Olfetta, brother, uncle, and friend to many. But to his Heavenly Father he was blessed, chosen, holy, and without blame in Christ Jesus. Before the world was created, God predestined him to be his son, adopted and accepted. And by His grace John has been accepted into his heavenly home.
John passed away with his adoring wife Justina by his side.
He leaves behind his loving wife Justina with whom he shared the past 45 years and 4 months, his children Justin (Naomi), Lisa, Linda (Jonathan), and John-Steven, and his 7 grand-children Jasen (11), Gabriel (9), Kyle (8), Adrian (7), Joshua (5), Brielle (2), Evelyn (6 months) who were the sparkle of his heart. He will be sadly missed by his siblings (Margaret), (Susie), Myra (Simon), Barbara, Judy (Sam), (Sarah), Helen, Kathryn (Paul), Joseph (Thelma), and Sara-Ann (Evan), many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family takes great comfort in the knowledge that John has gone to be with his personal Saviour, and he will be welcomed into a great company of witnesses who preceded him; his dad, Sam, his Mom, Rachel, brothers Sammy, Elie, Steve, Tim, Lorenz, nephew Randy, brothers-in-law Willie, George, and Herman, Father-in-law, John Waldner and Mother-in-law, Sarah Waldner.
Pappa John we love you and we look forward to the day we will see you again.
