It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Robert Spence at Sandy Bay First Nation on August 16, 2024 at the age of 82 years. John was born on October 28, 1941 in Sandy Bay First Nation, Manitoba.
John is predeceased by his wife Virginia; parents Flora & David Spence; son David; daughter Molly.
He leaves to mourn his children Sherry, John Jr., Theresa, Becky, Jeremiah; his siblings Susan, Rene, Harriet, Manuel, Elmer; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many extended family members.
One of John’s favorite pastimes was playing bingo, and he will be remembered for his joy of singing as well.
