Joe passed at the age of 72 years old at Portage General Hospital. He was a family man and always took care of everyone. He liked for things to be done a certain way, especially his yard, he took pride in his yards appearance. Every Monday and Thursday nights he would sit back in his armchair and watch wrestling. Joe was the jack of all trades, he was a devoted worker to Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation for many years. He also had nicknames for all his grandchildren. He was the rock of our family and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed dearly.
