Joseph "Paul" Albert Roy

Joseph Paul Albert Roy passed away suddenly at Neepawa, MB on August 5, 2025 at the age of 80 years. Paul was born January 23, 1945 at Sandy Bay where his parents operated a store. After growing up in Sandy Bay, Paul worked in several trades before becoming a successful business owner. He operated various hotels in Manitoba for several years. Paul and Lillian were avid gardeners though the years and they enjoyed the fruits of their labor. After retiring, Paul and Lillian resided at Christianson Beach on Lake Dauphin.

Lillian passed away in 2015 after 51 years of marriage. Besides his wife Lillian, grandson Dustin Rainbault and 2 sisters predeceased Paul; Vivian Routhier and Angela Elke.

Left to cherish his memory are daughter; Teresa (Terrance Strong), Nicole, and son Daniel. Grandchildren; Michael, Lisa, Alana, Junior, Samantha, Jorydn, Amaya, Chaniece, Amber, great grandchildren; Owen, Ava, Charlotte, Jaxton, Journie, brothers; Louis Roy, Daniel Roy, sisters; Lorielle Downy and Sylvie Secord.

Paul will be remembered for his fun-loving outgoing personality. Family and friends will cherish the many exciting adventures and fun-loving times. The family will celebrate Paul’s life privately at a later date.
