Surrounded by his loving family, it is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Joseph Victor Beaulieu at the age of 54 years on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Portage District General Hospital.
Victor was raised in Sandy Bay First Nation and spent his adult life raising his children with his wife in the community.
He attended Sandy Bay School where he completed his Grade 12 Education.
Victor spent many years working for the community in various positions. He also spent several years working for Great Plains Railroad.
He enjoyed visiting with his children, grandchildren and numerous friends. He had a special place in his heart for each and every one of them. He enjoyed family gatherings and always looked forward to that special time spent with all family. He especially enjoyed listening to country music.
He leaves to mourn his;
Wife of 35 years, Deidre Beaulieu
Children: Jillian (Mark), JoMarie, Jasmine, Victor Jr. (Laura), Jada, Jace (Dimitria).
Grandchildren: Jazlyn, Jesslyn, Jaaliyah, Rome, Ramsey, Cashton, Clyde, Angeline, Reign, Joerain, Jordyn, Jensyn, Jarret (BB Vic), Jendaya, Tandre, Drevonn.
Mother: Rose Beaulieu
Siblings: Glenda (Herbie), Steven (Delaney)
Father-in-law: Russell Eastman (Eileen)
Godchildren; Taylor Beaulieu, Christian Beaulieu and Nancy Houle
Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

His father, Joseph (Big Joe) Beaulieu, Brothers: Peter and Shane, Grandchildren: Dreia Roulette-Beaulieu and Jolena Beaulieu, Grandparents: Steven and Louisa Beaulieu, Madeline and Gilbert Chartrand, Mother-in-law: Peggy Eastman, Nephew: Roman Beaulieu.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit and Dialysis Unit at Portage General Hospital. Also, to Sandy Bay Medical Transportation and the Emergency Department for their care and understanding during his appointments and emergent care.
