Katharina (Hiebert) Hiebert

            Katharina Hiebert passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the MacGregor Health Care Centre. She was 98 years of age. Katharina was born to Jacob & Katharina Hiebert in Niverville, Manitoba, November 1, 1921.

            She married Peter U. Hiebert in the municipality of Hanover on July 19, 1942. They farmed in the Niverville area until 1974, at which time they moved to continue farming in MacGregor. In the summer of 2005 they moved into the town of MacGregor, where she resided until her passing.

            They were blessed with 11 children and numerous grand and great grand and great great grandchildren. Katharina is survived by 5 sons; 5 daughters, Peter (Mar)y, Katharina (Ed), Mary, Eva (Bill), John (Anne), Cornelius, Martha (Wayne), Menno (Betty-lynn), Helena (David) and Berhard (Oi Lee).

            Katharina was predeceased by her husband Peter; son Jacob; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
