Katherine Diane Dumas

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Katherine ‘Diane’ Dumas who began her journey to the spirit world on October 31, 2023, at the Portage District General hospital at the age of 71.

Diane leaves to mourn her sons; Davin (Melody) and Daniel ‘Danny’, Grandchildren; Charles (Brittany), Nikitah, Dravin Jr. (Dana), Davin (Kailee-Rae), Kara (Michael), Rick, Great Grandchildren; Alexus, Haydon, Sophia, Gracyn, Charles Jr., Vivienne, Aria, Memphis, Connor, Jaydon, Kashlynn, Kamilia, and Tristan, Siblings; Iris (Edward), Carol (Charles Sr), Daryl, Luke (Cassandra), Daniel Sr, Susan (Leslie), Stanford (Carol), Lorielle (Ernie), Patrick Sr (Linda), Fern (Peter), Lisa, Sonya (Kevin).

Predeceased by parents; Joseph Pascal Roulette & Amelia Marie Roulette. Biological Mother Jane Roulette. Brothers Russell Prince & Herbert Roulette. Sisters; Angela Eastman & Phyllis Christine.

Over the years mom lived and worked in a number of places. From Vancouver as a Health Care Worker, Edmonton as a Caretaker, Portage La Prairie, Winnipeg and Sandy Bay. She stayed and lived with Davin & Melody for a number of years, caring for her grandchildren, in Easterville, Jackhead, The Pas, and Fisher River.

One of the gifts mom had was to make blankets. She made blankets for family, friends, and to sell. All of the blankets she sewed were made from her heart and each one was unique.

She enjoyed gambling and going to bingo and slots with her grandchildren at the casino.

Mom loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed the sisters night outs they had spending time with each other laughing and teasing. She dearly loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always asked how all of them were doing.

Mom, grandma, sister, you left us earlier than we wanted you to, but we know that you would have stayed with us if you could. Creator called you home and now you are no longer in pain. We will always love you and cherish the memories we have with you. Until we see you again. Love you.
