Kathleen Mary Johnson

Kathleen Mary Johnson,  passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, in Gladstone, Manitoba, at the age of 95. Born on May 10, 1929, in Treherne Manitoba.

Kathleen was the firstborn among her siblings.

 Kathleen's early departure from school at thirteen was a sacrifice made to support her family, tending to the livestock and working at the local hotel.

Throughout her life, Kathleen was an active member of the United Church in Cypress River as well as the Legion.

Kathleen was loved by her family and her friends.

Kathleen enjoyed dancing with her husband, a shared passion that epitomized their union. Her home was a hub of festive cheer, especially during Christmas.  She liked preparing and sharing meals with anyone who graced her doorstep. Her table was never too small, her kitchen never too busy to welcome a friend or a stranger.

In her final years, despite growing weaker, Kathleen's spirit remained undiminished. Her garden was a symbol of her enduring love for beauty and life, with tulips that greeted the spring with vibrant colors.

     Rest in Heavenly Peace Kathleen, forever loved and always in our hearts.
