Keifer James Spence - Houle Obituary
In Loving Memory of Keifer Spence
Keifer Spence radiated warmth, joy, and love, touching the lives of everyone around him. He was a devoted father, loving partner, caring son and brother, cherished grandson, nephew, and friend. His family and friends were his heart, and he found pure joy in creating beautiful memories with them. Keifer’s gentle, affectionate spirit and bright smile made every moment together feel special and unforgettable.
Keifer shared a deep love and a beautiful dream with his partner, Kori. They dreamed of marriage and hoped for a baby girl to add to their family. His love for his children—Jeffrey, Keifer Jr., Sekani, Siyan, Kezley, and Zaeden—was boundless, and he cherished each precious moment spent playing, laughing, and bonding with them. As the eldest brother, he was a steady protector for his siblings, Tyra, Jaycee, Breezie, Jordi, and Phyillis, always looking out for them with pride and tenderness.
Keifer embraced life with a passion for preserving its precious moments, always encouraging us to take photos and videos, stay smiling and forgive fast only to hold onto the good memories. He loved to travel, gathering experiences and stories from every place he went, but his heart was always drawn back to his roots in Sandy Bay.
There, he felt most at home surrounded by his father, beloved grandparents, aunties, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and community. His bond with his grandparents was profound; they were like second parents, filling his life with wisdom, love, and unwavering support.
Keifer shared an especially close bond with his mother, and their love was one of the brightest parts of his life. Keifer protected his mom and asked her partner Josh to always take care of her and he had faith in him. He found strength and solace in his family connections, which gave him purpose and joy. His gentle presence and endless love for family are legacies that will remain deeply embedded in our hearts.
Keifer also enjoyed working with his hands in construction, where he held many jobs. Endless volunteering at KANDU, he had a passion for hunting big game with his uncle Joe, always making sure he made his offerings first to the creator and shared his kills. Keifer found joy in gaming, it was another way for him to connect with friends and family.
Keifer loved being outdoors he especially loved being around the water, going for nature walks and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
We all love you and will miss you Keifer, love Tyra, Nick, the kids, Jaycee, Cheylene, unborn baby girl, Breezie and Jordi. We will continue to honour the things you enjoyed doing, family dinners, family outings and share stories funny stories of you so the kids always remember you.
Though it’s hard to imagine life without him, we find peace in knowing his spirit surrounds us, watching over us, and offering protection. His laughter, his love, and the memories he left behind will echo within us forever. We will hold each other close, especially for his children, knowing he would want us to find strength together. Keifer was truly loved by everyone who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed. Play, smile and think of me, pray for me. Thank you all for being here with me…
Forever in our hearts, our memories, and our love.
