Leona Sylvia Beaulieu

Leona Sylvia Beaulieu, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022, at St. Claude Care Unit at the age of 74 years.

Mom leaves to mourn her husband Wilfred of 55 years; children Fern (Rob), Charm (Alex),  and Reuben (Claudette); grandchildren Chaneen, Eden, Quentin, Deacon, Wil, April, Julie, RJ, Ronan, and Britta; great grandchildren Zaidyn, Luciana, Lexi, Jaxton, Nellie, Jonesy, Serenity, Delaney, Rowan and Steven; as well as the nieces  she raised as her own Nicole, Carmen, and Tammy.

 Mom kept active in community events that took place in her younger years. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting her family and friends. She was also an entrepreneur for selling Avon and running a second-hand store that sold clothing and furniture. She loved canning and baking every fall, ensuring that she would pass her recipes onto her children. Mom loved to interact with people and had many friends in various communities.  She had a wonderful sense of humor that will always be remembered. Mom worked numerous positions at SBHC as a NADAP worker and a health care representative for seven regions. She retired in 2013, when she turned 65, there she enjoyed homelife with family and grandchildren. Mom’s health declined in 2016, but that did not diminish her spirit, she kept strong.

She will be forever cherished in our memories. We will always remember her strong spirit, wonderful sense of humour and zest for life.
