It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Lois Audrey Taylor. Lois passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 77 years in Neepawa, Maniotba.
Lois was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1946. She moved to Canada with her parents as an infant, and settled in Southern Quebec where she grew up.
She married Wendell Taylor in 1973 and moved to Thompson, MB. There, they settled in to family life, Lois working at the Thompson General Hospital for many years, and later moving to work for Provincial Home Care. She retired in 2007 and moved with Wendell to Neepawa, MB, where she enjoyed her retirement making new friends, trying new experiences, and loving life.
Aside from her well-known love of being a helper, mom spent many hours crafting, crocheting, camping and complaining. She loved a cold Pepsi (with and without dark rum,) a good medical drama and her husband, kids and grandkids. She had a way about her that drew people in, and she had many friends turned to family that she loved and loved her as well.
Lois was predeceased by her parents, George and Lorena Latewood, and her brother Robert Latewood.
She is survived by her loving husband Wendell and her children Drew (Elaine), Tina (Mickey), Erin, Amber and Amos. She also leaves her 3 grandsons, Jaden, Kieran and Jacob.
