With heavy hearts we’re saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and friend.
Marcella “Summer Wind Woman” had a lengthy illness that she succumbed to on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the Portage Hospital.
Marcella was always loving, happy and a carefree spirit. She enjoyed life with her children and her grandchildren all of whom she lovingly cherished. She loved family gatherings, attending traditional ceremonies and helping out at these events. She also enjoyed having friends to visit and cheerful times. To her dearest friends she was known as the “party girl”. She enjoyed watching TV – her favourites were Law & Order, CSI and the Jets games. In her spare time she painted rocks, teaching herself how to sew and of course radio bingo. She loved KFC and her favourite was pork chops. She liked travelling with her closest friends.
Marcella grew up in Sandy Bay, attending school and becoming an EA at the Isaac Beaulieu Memorial School. She loved to laugh and joke with everyone around her including her students.
