Marie Theresa Houle

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Marie Theresa Houle, better known as Theresa. 

Theresa was called to the spirit world on Sunday August 11, 2024 at the age of 87 years at Third Crossing Manor in Gladstone, Manitoba.

Theresa was born on the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation on March 13, 1937.

Theresa enjoyed bingo, word searches and doing puzzles in her free time. 

Theresa will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Theresa was predeceased by her parents Rosine and Joseph West (Richard). Her husband Joe Houle. Her brothers Dolphis and Larry Richard. Her brother in laws Morris Houle, Angus Houle (Mabel), Charles Houle (Carol) and Joe Roulette. Her Sister in laws Louis Marie and Frieda Houle. Her son and daughter in law  Johnny and Bonnie West. Her grandsons Patrick Jr. and Eric Richard.

Theresa is survived by her brother Roderick "Roddy" Richard (Gale). Her sisters Maryann Litman (Ron) and Monique Roulette. Her children Rodney West (Pauline), William "Patrick" Richard (Connie), Mervin West, and Theressa West (Karl). Numerous nieces and nephews, Grandchildren, Great grand children and great great grandchildren.

87 years around the Sun, 87 Springs, 87 Summers, 86 Falls, 86 Winters. You really lived to see it all, I asked God to heal you instead he took you, no more suffering on this earth you will now live for eternity. Give my brothers hugs for me, Rest in Paradise Koko You'll Forever be Remembered & Missed Dearly. ❤️
