Maurice Gary Whitford

            On the morning of January 28, 2020, Maurice Gary Whitford passed to the Spirit World. Maurice was born May 27, 1955 and was raised in Sandy Bay First Nation. He was liked and loved by many and always made jokes to make people laugh. Humour was always important. He loved to play the guitar, work on vehicles and made sure his children had a happy childhood. He was a man you could count on and did his best to help others.

            Maurice leaves to mourn his partner Gloria Whitford; children William (Becky), Annette (Shayne), Stephanie (Edward), Jackie (Kyle), Ida (Shane), Maurice Jr. (Vicky), Simon (Melissa), Jessica, Lloyd, Jessie, Eric, Sam and Thad, along with 38 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brothers Frank (Marlene), Wallace, George, Clifford (Rose), and Eugene; sisters Grace (Ted), Marcella (          ) and Irene. He joins in the Spirit World his parents Jonas and Victoria Whitford; children Shannon, Natasha and Lydia; brothers Ralph, Mervin and Samuel and sister Jeanette.
