Michael Maruschak Sr.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Michael passed away peacefully on February 20, 2023 at the Gladstone Hospital Palliative Care.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Mary Maruschak who provided 24/7 care for him while he was in Palliative Care,  and his sons Michael Jr.(partner Rena) and Chico were there on a daily basis to provide emotional support for their dad and step mom.

Michael was predeceased by his wife Nancy, sister Anne, and brother Peter. 

Michael is survived by his daughter Michelle; sons Michael Jr. (Rina), Andrew (aka Chico); stepchildren Franklin Desjarlais (Brenda), Valerie Desjarlais (Pierre) and Darren Desjarlais(Sharon); great grandchildren; grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sister Mary.
