Norbert James Sutherland

Norbert James Sutherland passed away at Portage District General Hospital at the age of 59 years.

            Back in his prime days he worked as a mechanic, provided services to the community as a tow truck driver. He worked as security for many years. His best job of all was raising his children, Norbert really was a kind, caring, loving person. He loved everyone unconditionally, he loved to talk over the phone with friends and family. He loved many things such as driving around, cooking, listening to his scanner, listening to music, socializing and eating a bucket of chicken.

            Norbert is predeceased by his parents Marshall & Marie Sutherland; Sherry Sutherland, Cleo Roulette, grandson Liam Monkman; sister Rosemary Sutherland; niece Mandy Sutherland; nephew Ashley Spence.

            He is survived by his children Norbert McIvor Jr. (Michelle), Jocelyn McIvor (William), Michael, Dillon, Ramsey, MaryJane, Avril, Desaray, Julie; grandchildren Tevian Monkman, Hunter McIvor, Sherry McIvor, Macie McIvor, Norbert Jr. and many more. Siblings; Noreen, Ronald, Norma, Joyce and Karen.; friend Roberta Richard; godchildren Kevin Sutherland, Robert Levasseur, Wedal Desjarlais and Amy Sutherland; extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many more.
