Pedro was born in Mexico but grew up in Seminole Texas. He was a smart kid and he enjoyed reading his bible. He loved baseball, His favourite team was the New York Yankees.
At 7 years old his family noticed he stopped growing and when he was 13 they got the news that he had a brain tumour. After surviving his second cycle of chemo, he was granted a Make-A-Wish, where the family went to San Antonio. Pedro cherished those memories. 8 years later the tumour returned and he endured another 2 cycles of chemo. After losing his mobility he took to making and selling key chains, which he was well known for. Pedro spent most of his life in and out of hospitals, his longest stint being 6 months.
Pedro was so excited to get baptized in 2013 and he loved to share the good news of Jesus with anyone that would listen. He graduated from MCI in MacGregor in 2014, and moved to Portage la Prairie in 2015. He made a lot of friends in the different group homes he lived in. Pedro had a special house that was built for him, which is where he peacefully passed.
Pedro was predeceased by his sister Yesania Dueck, brother David Dueck, and his grandparents Peter and Susana Dueck, Ben and Elizabeth Martens
Pedro is survived by his parents Heinrich and Catarina Dueck; siblings Irma (Jake) Giesbrecht, Bernie (Maria) Dueck, Betty (John) Dyck, Henry (Janae) Dueck, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
