Robert Roy Leckie

Robert Roy Leckie, 79, of MacGregor, MB passed away suddenly on January 20, 2021 with family by his side at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.

Bob was born on June 24th, 1941 to parents Roy and Annie Leckie of MacGregor, MB. His surviving sister Janice Anne completed the family on June 23rd, 1946.
At an early age farming was Bob's focus. From attending the University of Manitoba in Agriculture, cultivating the land and raising cattle in the MacGregor area to working with Crop Insurance...and more. There was always a connection and appreciation of nature with everything he did.
In a world that needs kindness, we have lost a kind soul. Bob was always thoughtful and had the gift of giving strength without words.
Bob will be missed by his sister Janice and his children Lisa (Emery), Murray, and Jennifer (Jason). He will be remembered by his grandchildren Amanda and Keith, Isabelle, and Reid (Ashton), Shayna, Matthew (predeceased), Samuel and Geena. His life stories will be shared to his great grandchildren Bryson (Matthew) and Ezra (Reid).
Bob will be greeted by all of his loved pets on the other side.
The celebration of life will be announced at a later date due to COVID restrictions.
